In this first issue of 2017, GDN announces its new organizational strategy, ‘The Road Ahead: Strategy 2017-2022’, outlining a refocused vision, purpose, beliefs, and three strategic directions of work going forward. Also featured: a new training program launched in partnership with the European Investment Bank (EIB) for local researchers to study the impact of projects in sub-Saharan African, Caribbean and Pacific countries; an event on governance and service delivery in New Delhi jointly organized by GDN, the Campbell Collaboration and 3ie; and stories of success from GDN awards grantees and programs. New publications, including the latest edition of the Research Monitor, and a book on governance and service delivery in Latin America co-edited by GDN's Ramona Angelescu Naqvi, Director of Programs and Guillermo Perry, member of the Board.
