Less than 30% of the world's researchers are women. It is widely acknowledged that women's participation in STEM fields are low. But, same seems to be the case with research in social sciences. The share of girls in post-graduate courses, required for research careers, decline rapidly, leading to the issue that: though women are affected by the world's most pressing problems, they cannot explain or study them.
