  • November: GDN published four working papers that investigate the various facets of the South Korean development experience and extract lessons for either specific developing countries or the developing country context in general. The papers won the KOICA development research award 2014.
  • November 27: Before the COP21, GDN organizes a Policy Dialogue on Natural Capital accounting for Developing Countries: Highlights from Africa. Learn more.
  • October 30:  Building a Research Culture in Developing Countries: Reforms, Incentives and Leadership was an event organized in New Delhi by our Doing Research Program. Learn more.
  • September : The Institute for Gross National Happiness Studies (Royal University of Bhutan) and GDN's workshop took place at Samtse in September 2015. See more.
  • February 27:9 Deans meet in New Delhi to discuss their strategy to set-up research centers at the Royal University of Bhutan. Learn more.

Framework after 2015?' consultation held in New Delhi, 19 March, 2013

GDN's Post-2015 MDG Consultation aimed at providing the High Level Panel of Eminent Persons appointed by the UN with the academic perspective from the South. The deliberations delved on the current scenario "Where we are now? What has been achieved under the current MDG framework? What is still missing?" as well as formulated forward-looking concrete proposals on "Where do we go from here? Setting the post-2015 development agenda."
