Doing Research in El Salvador: Bridging the research gap and improving development policies

A webinar titled, 'Doing Research in El Salvador: Bridging the research gap and improving development policies' held on the 29th June from 8:30-10:00 am El Salvador time (GMT-6) / 4:30-6pm CEST (GMT+2) to launch a report, 'Doing Research: Assessing Social Science Research Systems'  which was implemented in El Salvador by the Salvadoran Foundation for Economic and Social Development (FUSADES), under the research leadership of Helga Cuellar Marchelli and with the external scientific support of Thomas Bossert (Harvard University). 

Speakers at the event include: Pierre Jacquet, President, Global Development Network, Mathieu Denis, Acting CEO and Director of Science, International Science Council, Helga Cuellar-Marchelli, Director of the Departamento de Estudios Sociales (DES), Fundación Salvadoreña para el Desarrollo Económico y Social (FUSADES), Thomas Bossert, Director of International Health Systems Program, T.H.Chan School of Public Health, Harvard University, María Balarin, Senior Researcher, Grupo de Análisis para el Desarrollo (GRADE) and Steering Group Member, Grupo Sofía and Pablo Zoido, Education Lead Specialist, Inter-American Development Bank.
