Aarti holds a crucial and multifaceted role within the organization, requiring a combination of strategic thinking, operational leadership, and effective communication. Her responsibilities encompass intellectual planning and operational oversight in the administration and human resources departments. This involves close collaboration with department heads and external stakeholders, as well as managing and prioritizing competing demands across the organization. Aarti's comprehensive skill set and proactive approach make her an invaluable asset to the organization, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring smooth operational functioning. In addition to these duties, Aarti serves as the Secretary to GDN's Board and Assembly. In this capacity, she plays a pivotal role in facilitating communication and coordination among board members, assembly members, and other stakeholders. She ensures that all parties are aligned and informed, enabling effective decision-making and governance. Aarti's role also includes maintaining and implementing a rolling process of follow-ups on various aspects of strategic planning and management. This proactive approach ensures that key initiatives and priorities are consistently addressed, and that the organization remains on track to achieve its goals. Her experience as the Executive Assistant to the Country Director at Australian Habitat Studies highlights her background in supporting high-level executives and contributing to the operations of a training and capacity-building organization. This role provided her with valuable insights into organizational dynamics and the intricacies of managing diverse responsibilities, further enhancing her ability to navigate the complex demands of her current position.
