The DR programme systematically assesses how the characteristics of a national research system impact the capacity to produce, diffuse and use high-quality social science research.
The DR program is implemented and developed through a network of Southern 'research on research' scholars spanning 30 countries (early 2021), and is growing.
The program produces knowledge on the performance of research systems and through a range of communication outputs and dissemination channels, releases original data. It also organizes discussions and outreach initiatives that can be strategic to both international and national reforms in the global South.
