Types of Jobs

Jobs at GDN emerge in two ways. The first is within a program, which is funded for a finite number of years. The second is within the secretariat, where your job will be to serve across programs. In both cases, GDN usually provides staff with short-term contracts, typically lasting around three years, or the duration of the program, unless otherwise stated. GDN contracts are renewable based on good performance, and the availability of funds. GDN also recruits interns in each category, from time to time.

GDN advertises all its open positions on this website.It also advertises via other recruitment sites and channels, as the need arises.

If you are interested in a job that has been advertised, please do make sure that you fulfill the job requirements before you apply. We contact shortlisted candidates only.

Applicants are shortlisted, and eventually selected, based on their ability to do the job, which is judged through an interview process, reference checks and sometimes, a written test.
