In Nigeria, unfortunately, there have been no systematic efforts to generate data on the domestic Social Science Research (SSR) system since independence.
For a reliable and objective assessment of social science research systems in developing countries, the Doing Research program constitutes a network of close partners including the global DR team at GDN, a network of National Focal Point Institutions (NFPs), scientific and technical Advisors, as well as a global group of advisors and funders.
