
The Global Development Network was launched in 1999 in the aftermath of the landmark report by the World Bank on knowledge for development, in Bonn, Germany.
To mark its 20th anniversary, GDN went back to Bonn and held a roundtable during the 19th Global Development Conference 'Knowledge for Sustainable Development: The Research–Policy Nexus'.
