Through the JSDF award, Sustainable Development For All (SDFA), Kenya will scale-up its Use Solar, Save Lives – Empowering Youth and Women Project, throughout 15 different villages in Kenya.
The Building Research Capacity in Least Developed Countries program supports research institutions in Least Developed Countries (LDCs) to strengthen their research and outreach skills in a sustainable manner.
Under this program, GDN is partnering with four academic and research institutions based in three Least Developed Countries -- Bhutan, Cambodia and Ethiopia.
The Doing Research Assessment is the methodology developed by GDN to study research systems, following its pilot in 11 countries. It includes three steps to analyze the factors that impact the social science research system in a given country or region, and will lead to several knowledge outputs and awareness raising efforts.
A book titled, 'Measuring Impacts - The Experience of the EIB-GDN program' and three additional volumes containing studies from three cycles of the the EIB-GDN program are now ready.
